The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC)
The Council works in close collaboration and consultation with the parish priest. It identifies, implements and evaluates its pastoral initiatives and policies and ensures that these are in line with the pastoral priorities of the Diocese. The members of the Council consist of all the BEC leaders, the representatives of the Holy Infant Jesus sisters and the various Church committees. Under the Council, ad-hoc committees may be formed to be responsible for specific occasions or situations. PPC meetings are held every two months.
牧民议会
牧民议会的的功能是协同堂区司铎，策划并推展堂区的牧民工作，共同推动堂区的发展。议会成员由基信团代表，耶稣圣婴修女会代表及堂区各团体代表组成。必要时议会将设立临时小组负责特定的活动。

The Finance Committee
This committee is responsible for all the financial matters of the parish, including the maintenance of clear and accurate accounts, payment of all parish bills, raising funds for the parish whenever necessary, and supplying financial assistance to all parish activities, where required. The members of this committee include the parish priest, chairperson of the PPC, Church clerk and appointed members who are able to handle accounting matters.

经济组的职责是管理堂区的一切财务事项，包括确保账目清晰准确，缴纳账单，必要时为堂区筹款及为堂区活动给予财务支助。经济组由本堂神父，堂区牧民议会主席，书记及其他通晓会计的成员所组成。

This society is registered under the name of the Conference of the Holy Name of Jesus and looks after those who are in need in the parish, irrespective of race or religion. The society has “adoptees” whose needs are provided via the monthly collections during Masses as well as via various other fund-raising activities such as the sales of calendars and Christmas cards. The collected funds are utilised to provide financial, educational and material aid.

圣文生会的成立是为了帮助堂区内贫穷的人，不分种族或宗教。协会从弥撒的捐献及其它筹募活动如售卖日历及圣诞节贺卡所获得的资金，给予贫困者金钱上，教育费及物质上的帮助。

The Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary was formed in Balik Pulau in 1960 with the aim to promote sanctification of self and others, service to the parish and evangelisation. The members consist of Chinese speaking parishioners. They hold a weekly meeting with prayers and devotion.

本堂区的圣母军成立于1960年，由华文组教友组成。它背上了成聖自己、聖化別人、服务堂区及福传的使命。圣母军在每周聚会里，一同祈祷、敬礼及进行会议。

The Catechism Teachers & RCIA Instructors

The teachers include the IJ sisters and lay teachers and classes are normally conducted on Saturdays and Sundays. The RCIA instructors help to prepare adult candidates for baptism.

The Youth Ministry
The youth in the parish are encouraged to join either the Mandarin-speaking group or the English-speaking group. Both groups are involved in helping the parish during parish events like the Feast Day and Family Day celebrations, as well as carolling within the Balik Pulau area during Advent. The groups hold regular meetings and also organise events like the Lenten activities and other charity events.

本堂区的青年团积极协助堂区筹备各项活动如主保庆典及家庭日。青年团在每年的降临期到各家报佳音，传报基督降生的喜讯；在四旬期举办活动，推广避惡行善、克己助人的精神。此外青年团也积极举办慈善活动。

Women parishioners make up this group which assists the church during the preparations of celebrations and functions. They also help in cleaning and decorating the altar and preparing refreshments for all social functions of the church. The members are drawn from the various BECs in the parish.

妇女组的服务范围包括协助堂区准备庆典及各项活动工作，确保圣堂的清洁，布置祭台及准备茶点和膳食。

There are presently 8 BEC areas including the Tamil-speaking BEC though some of the BEC areas have separate English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking groups. The BECs hold regular prayer and sharing meetings, go through the reflection papers and also are involved in organising and attending wakes and funerals as well as attending to any needs within their respective BECs. Each BEC has a representative in the PPC to voice out and share their concerns and to provide feedback to the BEC members on Church activities and policies.

The Chinese Apostolate
The Chinese apostolate was formed to cater to the Chinese speaking community in the parish especially in BECs and to infuse Christian values into Chinese culture. They also evangelise among the Chinese in the Balik Pulau area.

华文促进会的成立是为了推动及领导有关华文教务活动。华文促进会有职责把福音的精神渗入华人传统文化及向当地的华人宣传福音。
The Chinese apostolate was formed to cater to the Chinese speaking community in the parish especially in BECs and to infuse Christian values into Chinese culture. They also evangelise among the Chinese in the Balik Pulau area.

The Liturgical Committee
This committee assists the Church in the preparation of Eucharistic celebrations. The ministries under this committee include the altar servers, communion ministers, lectors & commentators, hospitality ministers, choirs, audio-visual ministry and sacristans. Also represented in this committee are the IJ sisters and the Mandarin and Tamil apostolates.
礼仪组
礼仪组的职责是为举行感恩祭做好准备。本堂礼仪组由辅祭团，送圣体员，领经员，亲善服务组，歌咏团，影音组，祭衣间管理组及来自圣婴修会的修女组成。
The Hakka Group
Fr Anthony Liew who discovered the continued usage of the Hakka dialect by parishioners formed the Hakka Group. To continue the unique usage of reading scripture in Hakka, the group leads the rosary 45 minutes before Sunday mass and has a fellowship after mass.
客家小组
本堂区有众多的客家教友，今日仍然以客家话诵念经文，非常难得，应该加以保留并传承。因此，在本堂区副本堂神父，刘善才神父的推动下，客家小组于2015年成立，以推广客家经文的使用及客家文化。客家小组在主日弥撒开始前以客家话诵念玫瑰经。客家小组也每月一次，在弥撒后聚会，一同分享客家历史，介绍客家菜肴，客家歌曲，讲解及介绍客家文化。
